I got my New Grist to do my own taste test. The problem? I can't taste or smell anything!!! I'm sick. *cough*  What's that you said?

"Could it be the -12 degree temps, Danica?"

"Psh! No, that just couldn't have anything to do with it."

*sigh*....I need a tissue.

If you can't find a gluten free beer in stock, chances are your local store will order it for you. Just go to the customer service desk and ask if they will do a special order  for the brand you want.

I know Whole Foods/Wild Oats will special order foods as long as they meet their standards of quality. So, they won't order some lard for you, but if you're wanting something that is organic or a specialty item (like gluten free, dairy free, etc) then chances are they have no problem doing so.

Your local Co-op will always do a special order for it's members. It may be a bit more money to go this route, but it's always good to support the local market!

So, no excuses! Go get your gluten free beer!  :D

The hunt is on! 01/16/2008

I have decided that I am going to go back on an elimination diet. Going gluten free first. I know I have a problem with gluten. It's just so hard to stay gluten free! For me it's the small things that make it hard. So, I'm finding gluten free alternatives before I start for the little things that I may want. Which gives us this gluten free beer blog!

So, fellow gluten sensitives or my poor celiacs, join me for the great gluten free beer search! Tally ho!
